It all started with Tim Berg, Sr. (aka "Alaska Tim"), who built aprestigious reputation over forty years ago as a fishing guide andlodging owner on the Kenai Peninsula.Great Alaska Seafood started after Tim pivoted into salmonprocessing while leveraging his partnerships with local fishermen.The business took off thanks to Tim's credibility and the success ofhis past ventures, becoming one of the best Alaskan fishcompanies around.
Over 25 years later, Great Alaska Seafood has Tim's son, Tim Berg ll,at the helm.
